"In 1998 Sensei Bodhin Kjolhede sanct-ioned his first two teachers, giving aut-hority to Ven. Sevan Ross and Ven. Sante Poromaa to serve as teachers at their respective centers in Chicago and Stockholm, Sweden. The Chicago Zen Center and Zenbuddhistiska Samfundet are now autonomous centers. With this emergence of a new generation of teachers, Bodhin-sensei has expressed to Sevan-sensei, Sante-sensei, and their Sanghas his wish to preserve close ties with them, and they all felt the same. In no time they agreed on a name: The Cloud-Water Sangha.
